Kick for a Cause will see 44 local identities participate in a social soccer match in support of the Salvation Army.

On March 19th, 44 local identities will be taking to the football field to participate in 'Kick for a Cause' - Rotorua's inaugural charitable football event, in support of Rotorua Salvation Army.
You're invited to come down to Ngongotaha Football Club from 1pm to cheer on your favourite players as they step out of their comfort zones and lay it all out on the field in the name of a good cause (more details here - https://www.facebook.com/kickforacauserotorua).
If you can't make it along on the day, you can donate here to show your support for the players and the cause.
All funds will be donated to the Salvation Army, to help them stock their shelves and provide food packages and other vital support to vulnerable Kiwis.

They did it! Yesterday, our 44 local identities took to the field and gave it their everything to support Rotorua Salvation Army.
After months of preparation, it was heartwarming to see it all come together, and even more heartwarming to watch the players get out there and lay it all out on the field.
Thank you so much to all those who have been part of the journey so far.
Today the players are feeling a little worse for wear, but already talking about getting back out there next year!
