    They did it! Yesterday, our 44 local identities took to the field and gave it their everything to support Rotorua Salvation Army.

    After months of preparation, it was heartwarming to see it all come together, and even more heartwarming to watch the players get out there and lay it all out on the field.

    Thank you so much to all those who have been part of the journey so far.

    Today the players are feeling a little worse for wear, but already talking about getting back out there next year!

  • Kick for a Cause team training

    Last week, our identities got together at Ngongotaha AFC in preparation for game day on March 19th.

    They met their teammates (and opponents), had a bit of a run around on the field, and ran through some football drills with the help of Natalie from WaiBOP Football Federation and our referee Alan.

    There was a lot of nervous energy floating around beforehand - but by the end of the session, they were all feeling ready to take to the field with their newfound skills (their laughter could also be heard from miles away).

    Just one week until game day now!
