Help us Glow for Good, get our neon out and raise money for community defibrillators for Kapiti.

Wellington

We are the 3 organisers of Kapiti Indoor Market, Rachel, Nicola and Stef.

We love using our events to raise money for local charities. We thought it would be a great use of the time between markets to take part in a fun local event and raise money for Kapiti AED Trust (www.kapitiaed.org).

We will be getting all bright and funky and participating in the Neon Night Walk/Run on October 5th In Porirua (www.neonnightwalk.co.nz).

Kapiti AED Trust was set up in response to the growing realisation that peoples' lives can be saved if an AED (heart defibrillator) is available following a cardiac arrest. Two members of the Waikanae Volunteer Fire Brigade, working alongside Wellington Free Ambulance, set up the Trust to own the AEDs and to assist local communities fundraise for one in their neighbourhood.

The Trust provides free training in CPR and the use of the AED.
