I will be running 10k in the Emerson's Dunedin Marathon on September 12th and all my donations will go directly to Alzheimers Otago.

I am a Community Educator with Alzheimers Otago working with people living with dementia and Alzheimers Disease in Dunedin and North Otago.

Everyday I see the challenges faced by the carer and person with dementia to navigating the system in order to get the right support at the right time.

Alzheimers Otago has been operating since 1982 with a vision of creating a dementia friendly Otago. They support approximately 400 people through groups and home visits.

I will be running 10k in the Emerson's Dunedin Marathon on September 12th and all my donations will go directly to Alzheimers Otago.

About us

We are an Otago based charity who supports people living with dementia and their families across the Otago region.

Use of funds

Alzheimers Otago is a registered charity which must raise 80% of its operating expenses annually through grants, membership and donations. All donations go to support people living with dementia.
