Kia ora e te whānau,

Kick Back is a Youth Development and Social Justice Organization responding to Youth Homelessness. We have just recently opened our new service, The Front Door Project. The Front Door Hub is a space for our young people to haere mai, share kai, aroha, stories and to guide us in how we can best support them on their journey to healing, empowerment and of course, safe & stable homes. It's a space rangatahi can come to if they are at-risk of homelessness, a space where they can receive love, support, health care, mental health support, legal advice and the manaaki they need to navigate what they are going through.

Being able to feel safe & comfortable is a right we should all have access to. The wonderful young tāngata working alongside us are so often denied that right. So, Kick Back wants to make sure our Hub space is as safe & comfortable for our young tāngata walking through our Front Door as humanely possible.

Our Kick Back whānau are weeks away from officially kicking off our Front Door Hub regular drop-in days. And we need a few things to make the place feel like home. We ask, with truly grateful hearts, for those with the means to help us do this by donating here today - and we thank everyone who has helped us so far to get to this point. These funds will help us to fill the hub with secondhand furniture, rugs, and other resources needed to make The Front Door feel comfortable and welcoming.

We so appreciate all your support.

Ngā mihi,
