Help us to make our Safe House a home

We have recently fundraised the money to put a new kitchen into our safe house by having a pop up shop last year and also through some generous people in our community making donations.

Our new kitchen will work better for the women and children who use our safe house and allow women to cook together and store their food safely.

We need your help as we now have a new kitchen – but we still need to put flooring in, new curtains and the extra things that make a kitchen a home.

Things like a big table they can all sit around and eat and stools that will mean the children can sit and do homework or play while their mums are cooking in the kitchen.

These women and children have come into our safe house to escape family violence in their own home, and so we really want to make our kitchen the heart of their home while they are here with us.

We want them to start to make meals and precious memories from the moment they arrive at our safe house and to feel supported and cared for by our community.
