Thank you again everyone, I can't express strongly enough what your support means. I've been in Europe 5 nights now and feeling fresh and adapted to the time difference. Today I'm leaving Norway and heading to Finland, with 3 more sleeps until my first event. The weather has been fantastic and in looking forward to some great racing weather!

Thank you again and I'll keep you updated on how I go 😊

Kia Ora everyone, and just thank you thank you thank you firstly for all your support! I feel so genuinely privileged to be supported by such an awesome community and get to go and represent not only New Zealand, but all of you!

Finished up my last training sessions in NZ! The last few weeks have been pretty grueling with work/kids and the final hard push with training in the cold!

Doing a last bit of sprint testing this weekend (if the weather allows) then off on flight 1 of 5 early Monday morning!!

It's all really been coming together, despite the heavy load and my tiredness. I'm feeling really primed for some great performances and a huge amount of fun too!! Looking forward to firstly a little rest and recovery over the next week, and then a little bit more training on the ground in Europe.

  • Cash Donations Received

      8 June 2022

I'm incredibly grateful to some wonderful friends and clients who have supported me with cash donations over the past week, allowing me to reduce my fundraising total! Thank you again to everyone who has helped so far! Not long to go now, and still a bit more to raise, so any shares would be awesome!

  • 3 weeks to go!

      30 May 2022

Hi team, WOW! Can't believe it's only 3 weeks until I leave. Starting to feel so much more real and exciting... slowly pulling together a packing list and run through all the things I might need for my adventure. If you have any long haul travel tips I'm certainly keen to hear them!

Training is ramping up intensity for these next 3 weeks, with prepping for competition, slightly less volume, but working on high quality and intensity work.

Body is feeling good, despite a few bugs coming through the house and kids home sick, managing both the juggle and staying healthy.

Thank you again for everyone who is behind me! Can't wait to get out there and test myself against the best.

  • Less than 5 weeks to go!

      18 May 2022

Thank you all so much for your generosity, It is so appreciate. I feel so incredibly grateful that there are so many special people out there supporting me and helping make this dream come true!

I feel so honored that in this first week of fundraising I have come so close to being halfway there!

As training progresses each week, I'm pushing myself a little harder! Plenty of early nights and planning involved to get the work/mum/athlete balance moving forward together. For a bit of context, I'm doing 6-7 sessions a week, 2 running, 1 hurdles, 2 jumping and 2 in the gym.

I'm entering 6 events at World Champs, so the juggle is on to sharpen them all up!

I've been excited to have recently started a new Personal Training job at Mint Gym in Christchurch just a few weeks ago, so it's been a big learning curve and a lot of fun too, balancing this new regular work with kids and training.

For the most part our stunning Christchurch autumns have bene playing nice, only a few rainy sessions so far, and one in the frost! But as temperatures drop this is certainly another challenge for training this time of year.

Again, thank you for your kind support and sharing my page! I appreciate all the encouragement!
