Want to be able to hear kiwi near Auckland? Help bring Little Spotted Kiwi to the Shakespear Open Sanctuary.

The Shakespear Open Sanctuary is a 50-minute drive from the Harbour Bridge. We plan to re-introduce Little Spotted Kiwi there by relocating birds from Tiritiri Matagangi and Kapiti. We have raised most of the $35,000 needed to make this happen, and need your help to find the rest.

About us

Our involvement with the Open Sanctuary includes: restoration and development of ecosystems; conservation and enhancement of its natural, historic and cultural features and values; providing financial, material and physical support; advocacy.
