I am currently holding an undefeated record for sword and shield 1v1 in New Zealand over 4 tournaments and 20 opponents

I am looking to represent my country for the 3rd time internationally at the IMCF International Medieval Combat Federation world champs in Denmark in 1v1 Sword and shield 5v5 and 10v10. There is too much to gain to miss this opportunity, being able to fight against the best teams in the world,  I intend to bring back a medal and experience to help further develop and build the sport here in NZ.

I have represented NZ in this sport in 1v1 Sword and shield and 5v5 at IMCF worlds in Portugal 2016, where our team won the international team sportsmanship award. Most recently Dynamo cup in Moscow Russia during December, alongside with a strong Kiwi team, the NZ SteelBlacks. The last trip costing me a small fortune and has hindered my savings towards IMCF this year.

Doing something like this givealittle is out of my comfort zone, but there are people wanting me to do this that believe in me and what I do.

Use of funds

Any funding will be used to help me and my team with any incurred costs with travel, luggage, insurance and helping if there are armour or equipment failures, if a smith is needed.
