Please help Koda have a fighting chance

Koda our beautiful 12 1/2 year old ragdoll wasn't eating for a few days and we took him to the vet to find out why.
The vet was very concerned and told me Koda very very sick dehydrated cat and they were unsure what it could be.
They did blood tests and a scan each coming back as if he had nothing wrong with him except one thing - pancreas on the blood test and his bowels on the scan. But no definative diagnosis.
They put him on a drip over night however as they were closing on Saturday 3pm and unable to continue to treat Koda the next best option was an afterhours hospital. We weren't ready to give up on him so we transported Koda to the emergency animal hospital to continue his treatment for dehydration and the investigation as to what was wrong.
Koda was very well taken care of at the animal hospital and it was suggested to do a specialised unltrasound and scope. We wanted to get to the bottom of why our beautiful boy was so sick so we did both options.
We are now waiting results but it is will be a long road either way with the two possible diagnoses. We are unsure at this stage what his medication will cost us and it seems he will have to take this for the rest of his life.
The cost so far between the first vet, the hospital and the specialist has equated to $7740 without any ongoing costs which would be additional care and medication.

Update on Koda 14 June 2022
Koda is doing well, he is on a special diet and medication daily. His weight has not increased by much but there has been no more weight loss. He is almost back to his old self minus the weight he lost. His ongoing medication and special food is quite expensive but we manage thats to the kind and generous donations given. Thank you so much. Without your help no matter how small it is such a blessing. I am still paying off the vet bills back to Lawrie as well.
