Help support our IVF journey in starting our little family, and help heal our broken hearts.

Auckland

Hey everyone,

If you've found yourselves here then you're probably curious about the heartbreaking struggles that Josh & I have been going through in a bid to start our family, which has taken us to our final step; IVF.

After privately funding my previous fertilty-related surgeries, we cannot afford to fund IVF privately, which has devasted our hopes of starting our own family.

Hence, we've turned to Givealitte in the hopes of aiding our journey in anyway possible.

At age 25/28, you wouldn't expect to be told that your chance of starting a family is next to nothing without fertility treatment. Sadly, that is our reality and we're doing all we can to make our dream of starting our family come true.

After being diagnosed with PCOS & defective fallopian tubes, and after countless privately funded surgeries to try and increase our chances at conceiving naturally, we sadly received the news that we need to undergo IVF and fallopian tube removal if we want any chance at having a baby. This also includes covering the cost of egg retrieval and storage.

This news was devasting for us and especially hard to hear as in NZ it will cost upwards of $25,000 to fund IVF treatment. Government funding towards IVF is very limited and so far we haven't been approved to receive help.

Any funds from Givealittle will be used to go towards appointments & tests & procedures as we embark on the next part of our fertility journey.

We are doing all we can to raise the funds to create our little miracle and really appreciate your help.

If you're unable to donate, we understand - feel free to share our funding page instead x

We really appreciate the support and love on our journey and wish you all well.

Love, trust and baby dust to us all xxx

Speaking from the one who's gone through IVF and now holding 3 months old baby in my arms, all the struggles and despair that you are going through will be paid off one day. Don't give up on your hope and hang in there. Wish you all the very best.

Hi Claire, it is only through another page I have going atm for the loss of our unborn baby that I worked out how to respond to donations. I know it's been a while now but we wanted to say how absolutely grateful we are for your donation some years ago - we welcomed our miracle daughter Vienna just over a year ago and never gave up hope ... I'm so happy to hear of your own little miracle too <3 xxx
