Help Koromatua School Get New Winter Sport Uniforms

Koromatua School has always been a school that has punched well above their weight on the sports field. As a 'country school' they have always participated in the annual Lower Waipa Interschool Sports competition. The competition involves Rugby, Football, Netball and has recently introduced Golf.

As a parent, I was excited to hear that my son was participating in the competition and representing his school. I have fond memories of putting on the Koromatua Red and Blue tops and running around the paddock with my friends. Unfortunately, when I arrived to the event I saw the same uniforms that I wore in the 90's. I have since found out that the uniforms were 10 years before my time. I also noticed students wearing old Netball uniforms that were donated by a high school when it was closing down.

I made a decision on my drive home that a change needed to happen! The school won the majority of the competitions that day but looked like the poor cousin in each event. It is time for the school to look the part and for the kids to be proud of the school they all represent.

After sourcing three separate quotes, it was obvious that this was not going to be a cheap. The target is $9000. This will cover 3x Rugby Team uniforms, 3x Football Team uniforms, 3x Netball Team uniforms, 16 Cross Country Singlets and 10 Polos for Golf.
