Kylie has terminal cancer in her brain & body. She has 3 beautiful wee girls & a loving husband. Let's try & make things a little easier.
Canterbury
On May 25th 2011, after 8 weeks of being misdiagnosed, 34 year old Kylie was told she had an aggressive form of breast cancer. She then spent 2 years going through Chemo, Radiation, Full Right Mastectomy, Breast Reconstruction, and further Hercepton treatment. Her husband Karl, and her 3 girls (then aged 5yrs/3yrs/18mnths) were amazing strength and reason to keep her incredibly strong and positive. At the end of this treatment - she was told the cancer was gone. AMAZING NEWS.
8 months later, as they were getting ready to move on to another stage of life, and 2 weeks before Christmas - she has been diagnosed with stage 4 terminal cancer through her body, brain and nodes. It is absolutely heartbreaking. The treatment starts again. However, the treatment is now to try and prolong her short life. There is a drug that has been proven very successful at providing up to another 12 months of life. The cost is up to $80,000. There are also medical expenses that have been incurred, and expenses not covered through their insurance. We need to help this special family. We need to do everything possible to give these 3 girls every moment with their beautiful mother, and Karl with his wife.
Please help us reach this target. Every effort will help.
I am Kylie's sister in-law, and am just one of a very wide range of friends and family who will do anything possible to make things a little easier for this beautiful family.
