Laingholm Tree Lights Fund Raising for Ongoing Maintenance

With everything in the world constantly changing at this time some things need to stay the same.

The Laingholm Fishing Club is starting this give a little page to raise funds for the ongoing maintenance of the lights on the Pine Tree at Laingholm Beach on Sandys Parade.

We want to take this moment and thank Wayne Mackenzie (long time member of the fishing club and Laingholm community) who was one of the main people who arranged the original lights on the tree which has brought seasonal cheer to the Laingholm community. With him now based in Wellington for the majority of his time this is now harder for him to fund raise.

The Laingholm Fishing Club has always held a separate account for donations and our Committee have made the decision to take on the fund raising for this.

To keep the light on we have a local electrician Brian Hindmarsh who not only maintains the lights also arranges the arborist who comes in to trim the tree so we can continue to have our beacon of the Laingholm Community going and seen.
