Wellington
We are on to the second fundraiser - and this time the Barbarians are out on the road for us. Thanks Team!
What and When and Where?
From the 8th-14th of August we will cycle from Lands End to John O'Groats, so from the most southern to the most northern tip of the UK.
This is a journey of roughly 1500km. We are planning to complete this in 6 days. Unsupported.
Who?
The team riding the length of the UK are:
James Mcanallen
Axel Dickinson
Andrew Wakefield
Nick Pusinelli
Kev Neville
Why?
We want to show what we can achieve together, the strength and resilience that we can built together through times of challenge and hardship.
Lands End to John O'Groats is a classic bike tour that typically takes 10-14 days.
What we endeavour to do, riding 250km a day while carrying all our equipment, is ambitious and will require every scrap of will power we have.
To support the boys' effort, 'Through The Blue' stalwart Eleanor Morris is showing her support through running 6 Half Marathons in 6 days over the same stretch.
Please show your support through donating generously to the charity. All funds raised go to an extremely worthy and woefully underfunded cause.
Through The Blue is a charitable trust registered in New Zealand. We work with professionals to develop programmes and resources to educate teachers about youth mental health issues.
All funds will go towards Through the Blue Charitable Trust. The aim is to provide on-going support to teachers in the form of education, so teachers can support teens with mental health issues.
