Lani would love to go to Billie Eilish

Lani (12) and her sister Zoe (18) both live with Crohn’s Disease. This is an inflammatory bowel disease which is manageable with medication and diet but not curable. Lani reached out to Make-a-Wish to see if she could be granted a wish to go see Billie Eilish in concert in Melbourne in March 2025. However they have said she is not eligible as she isn’t terminal 😢 Crohn’s is a chronic illness and our girls will live with this for the rest of their lives. They will have moments of terrible pain and other issues and also moments of the disease being under control. It is unpredictable.

Lani has had a huge year with having to be in and out of hospital. Needing to be tube feed for 12 weeks and slowly learning what triggers her Crohn’s. She has to have monthly infusions to help with the illness. Zoe has weekly injections to help hers, she is managing hers at the moment, but this can change at any moment. This also causes a lot of anxiety in the girls. They miss a lot of school and social activities and just being teenagers.

Any support to help our family take Lani on her dream holiday and to see her all time favourite artist in concert would be amazing. It would be awesome to see her enjoying being somewhere other than a hospital. ☺️
