Fundraising for Laura who is fighting an aggressive, incurable astrocytoma Grade 4(possibly glioblastoma result pending).

Living in Oamaru Laura is a much-loved wife to hubby Matt and the best Mum to Vittoria 8 and Luigi 5, much loved by her Italian family, NZ in laws and many, many friends all over the world.

The family's life was suddenly changed in Sept 2025, when Laura's right arm and leg stopped working suddenly whilst on holiday in Akaroa and she was flown to Christchurch where she spent nearly 2 months at Burwood hospital recovering and rehabilitating, learning to walk again.

Laura returned to Oamaru and has enjoyed spending time with family, friends and her 2 beloved cats.

Unfortunately, In March this year Laura noticed weakness in her right side, ending up in Christchurch hospital again.

After more tests, scans, an operation, a diagnosis was made, a brain tumour, aggressive and INCURABLE.

Laura is going to fight this with all she can fight with, to tame this beast and have more time with her family and friends.
