Lee's leaving Gift

Lee has been a friend to many people over the years.

Running Nelson's favourite bar for 15 years, he's had a lot of people to deal with, some very pleasant, others not so...

Lee has always tried his best, from ensuring the bar is clean and tidy, to ensuring people get home safely, even ordering taxis for them at his own expense on occasion. And of course, Nelson's best Charity Quiz night.

Lee has seen customers come, well customers having children (even the oldest wouldn't be able to order a beer today), and customers go. We have on occasion raised a glass to the departed.

But it's time for Lee to "retire" from the Sprig and pass it on to another dedicated publican.

Along with George his wonderful Cana Corso, Lee's making the move and this is a little something to thank him for his dedication to the pub, the community, and his friends...

We will all have our memories of times at the Sprig, but Lee helped make them.
