Lee's leaving Gift
A thank you gift to Lee for his dedication to the trade and community.
Nelson
Lee has been a friend to many people over the years.
Running Nelson's favourite bar for 15 years, he's had a lot of people to deal with, some very pleasant, others not so...
Lee has always tried his best, from ensuring the bar is clean and tidy, to ensuring people get home safely, even ordering taxis for them at his own expense on occasion. And of course, Nelson's best Charity Quiz night.
Lee has seen customers come, well customers having children (even the oldest wouldn't be able to order a beer today), and customers go. We have on occasion raised a glass to the departed.
But it's time for Lee to "retire" from the Sprig and pass it on to another dedicated publican.
Along with George his wonderful Cana Corso, Lee's making the move and this is a little something to thank him for his dedication to the pub, the community, and his friends...
We will all have our memories of times at the Sprig, but Lee helped make them.

Lee has been a dedicated friend, he looks after his family of customers, we will miss him as he moves onto another chapter in his life.
Use of funds
Funds will go toward purchasing Lee either a CISON V8 or TOYAN FS-V800 engine kit. Whether the total falls short of our goal or exceeds it, donations raised will go directly to Lee to support his retirement and living costs as he begins his next chapter.

Hi All,
Lee is so chuffed people have supported this campaign in getting him a leaving gift.
As you will see in the photos, the kit is detailed and intricate, there are 100's of pieces we did not photo, nuts and bolts etc. He can't wait to get started on it when he's out on the road...
In the end it was decided to go for the full kit, stand, starter, rev counter et al...
Lee will be in contact when he has the time to thank everyone he can individually,
