Leisa & Indy's NZ Charity Cycle Journey - Fundraise Page for 13 Regionally Based Charities

Why would I want to Cycle the Length of NZ with a dog in a trailer? A sensible enough question - "Because I can!"

The planning and execution of this Journey is also about my road to recovery from mental illness that saw me on the couch for 3 years. It is also a tribute to the amazing professional and personal support I have received that has enabled me to get going again and put this journey together.

I want to give back. As you know we live in such a wonderful country with extraordinary people and if; through this journey I can promote/educate/share with many others while out and about doing something I love, then why not?

What I hope is that while Indy and I travel along on our Journey, with the assistance of a support vehicle we will be joined by many others that will wish to do the same. These wonderful people will be asking their friends and family to sponsor them so many cents or dollars per km cycled and those funds will go directly to the 13 charities. 100% of the funds raised will be equally distributed from a Trust Account Managed by Chartered Accountancy Firm Ashton Wheelans located in Christchurch.
