Help us raise funds for our beautiful mum's intensive care and urgent surgery while stuck in Australia.
Waikato
Leoni came on a weekend trip with her husband to visit their 3 daughters in Sydney. After a special weekend together Leoni and Glen went to board their flight home to NZ but was sadly rushed to St George hospital in Sydney.
Leoni has been under intensive watch for 3 days as doctors have discovered a 3.7L Cyst on her ovaries and a severe infection in her leg which has caused a toxin in her blood. She has been moved to isolation and this has now become the doctor’s biggest concern.
The risk is currently too high for emergency surgery of the cyst as she is not stable however it will be necessary in the days to come. Specialists are running tests to get answers around the source and nature of the mass.
Leoni is expected to be in hospitalized care for an estimated 8-10 weeks. Leoni and Glen have their home and many other expenses to manage in NZ, the expense of living in Sydney for over 2 months and specific care required for her outside of the hospital post-surgery.
Leoni is the mother of 6 beautiful children, and this has been a big shock on her family and the community she very graciously serves. Leoni plays big part of serving her church and community and has never failed to put everyone before herself.
Your donation - big or small - will make a difference. If you are unable to donate, your prayers would be appreciated. Having access to funds in the coming months will help make our time as a family as normal as possible.
With gratitude from the bottom of our hearts,
The Cane family.
Leoni is our amazing mumma and Glen is our incredibly supportive and strong dad.
This Give a little will be used for the urgent medical care required for Leoni, the expense of her family living in Sydney for over 2 months while she is being treated and their expenses back in NZ while Glen is unable to work.
