World record holder races at 98 years old- get the legendary kiwi motorcycle racer recorded again!
Nationwide
At the age of 98 and 340 days Les will race at the 44th Classic motorcycle festival in Manfield- New Zealand, February 2024. Team Harris are raising funds to once again cover the costs of recording the updated record age for the Guinness World Record team, approximately $3000NZ.
It takes a big team of people to organise such a feat and keep Les safe, and well supported. Again, On the track with Les will be his grand daughter Olivia (21) riding for only the second time on a racing circuit on one of Les’s BSA Bantam bikes, and also Les’s second oldest son, Lindsay (62) who will ride a BSA and race for the very first time! Funds will also go towards covering the costs for the many volunteers to travel to support Les and Team Harris at Manfield. Let’s get the record age as high as we can so another Legendary Motorcycling New Zealander seals the record for all time! Be part of an epic history making journey!
