Ramp update

Hi all, isn't it fantastic to see the ramp so well used. It's amazing to see different age groups all hanging out together. A dream come true for many! We are chuffed with the use it's getting as it helps support the case for a permanent skate facility in Sumner. By way of update, CCC Parks Team are on standby to deliver plants to help beautify the area around the ramp but we've still got a long way to go before our volunteer builders can come back on site to start building the safety (temporary) planters. Feel free to share the givealittle link with other skaters with the hope that they'll be as generous as you have been! May we also take this chance to say that Sumner Green & Skate are very concerned about the way in which some users are crossing roads around the ramp. Using the pedestrian crossing is the best way in which we can ensure safety of all - both skaters and drivers. Positive road use will ensure the ramp will stay open. Keep spreadin the love!
