Many thanks everyone for your help with getting the car repaired. We managed to raise the funds needed and the car is now back on the road providing Andrew with the mobility he so badly missed. Your generosity made it all happen!
A huge thankyou to all of you who have given generously to get repairs on this car to this stage. Andrew's car has now been repaired, and is running well. There were $500 unexpected charges getting the replacement engine up and going. The outstanding bill with the repair shop is now at $1,877. Let's get it paid for so we can get the car released and provide much needed independence and transport. We are on a roll towards the finish line now!!
Friends of Andrew, we had a revised target of $3,368 to get the car repaired. From funds generously given by you and others we have raised $1,909 and this has allowed us to purchase the bare replacement engine. We have another $1,459 left to raise before our GiveALittle page expires at the end of February. Andrew still desperately needs transport! Thank you so much for your help in this worthy cause!
A new quote has been received for repair of Andrew's car and we are now only $2,333 short of our target! Its great news, and we'd like to buy the second hand engine before Christmas since its currently available. Let's give Andrew something to cheer about this Christmas!
