Let's Go! A revolution in music education

In 2023 the decision was made by Te Pukenga to close MAINZ Auckland (Music Audio Institute of NZ). Since then, a few ex-staff and concerned music industry professionals have gotten together to create a plan to bring back what MAINZ was, but even better. The first step is to fund raise to create a Trust; and then to register a Private Training Establishment focusing solely on music - performance, production and promotion. It's objective is to provide the skills, knowledge and expertise needed to thrive in the rapidly evolving and expanding modern music industry.

We have a legal quote of ~10K to do this work. If we do not reach this amount, the funds will be used to cover some expenses already covered by volunteers and remainder to be donated as a scholarship for student(s) studying music at tertiary level or toward NZ musicians/bands for recording/video/live performance costs.
