Let’s help make Jocks fight that much easier

My name is Leona Munro and I am the sister in law of Michael Jock Armitage - many of you will know him as “Jock”.

Jocks Chemo journey has begun...... from when he was in Dunedin last, we had been in limbo for a number of weeks getting Biopsys done to lock in 100% which type of T-cell Lymphoma he has. Sadly it had to be a rare and aggressive one, which means its a hard and aggressive treatment path Jock has to go on, it is going to challenge his mind and body to get through it all, but its going to be worth it....... he has just completed his first week of treatment in Dunedin hospital, and Im so proud of how he is handling it, so over the next four months he will b in the hospital 3 weeks of the month with chemo treatment most days, and all going well one week at home. This cycle will continue for 4months, at the end he will also have a trip upto Christchurch for a bone marrow treatment. Then months of recovery after that.

Its going to be our biggest challenge in life so far, but one worth fighting. We want to thank you all for the very generous donations, this will help us hugely financially, so we can put all our energy into fighting this beast!!

But also a huge thank u for the positive vibes, hugs, love, offers of help, food/meals and support, Beau minding. We have so much love around us and we are all feeling it.
