Urgent treatment required for rare Neuroendocrine Cancer diagnosis.
Taupo, Waikato
Neil Saggers is a Beloved Husband, Father, Grandad, Brother, Uncle, and Friend.
Recently, Neil and his family have been given the news that none of us ever want to hear:
Cancer Diagnosis.
On Thursday 15th September 2022, Neil was diagnosed with Neuroendocrine cancer.
This is an incredibly rare type of cancer that requires Genome testing for Immunotherapy treatment.
Unfortunately, Genome testing and Immunotherapy treatments are not funded in New Zealand.
Since receiving the news of his diagnosis, Neil has had to stop working as his first round of chemotherapy started on the 4th October.
How can we help????
Donations, no matter how big or small, make a difference.
Contributions will help enable Neil’s family to fund the all-important and potentially lifesaving Genome testing and Immunotherapy, while assisting with travel costs to Rotorua and Auckland for his appointments, health supplements, and dietary needs.
Neil has touched the lives of so many of us and has always made an effort to be an active part of our community.
So, let's throw our love and support behind
Neil, Mel, Amy, Edward, William, Andrew, Luca and Hugo during this heart-breaking time for their family.
And remember ….
Every little bit makes a big impact on Neils road to recovery.
Family friend.
