💕Our dear friend and cherished colleague Charmaine has recently received the life-altering news of a breast cancer diagnosis. While her surgery was a great success, she now faces the next challenging stage—an aggressive round of chemotherapy. As many of you know, this journey is physically exhausting, emotionally intense, and financially overwhelming.

If you know Charmaine, she radiates warmth, generosity, and laughter. She’s the one who brings joy to every room, comfort to every heart, and kindness to every life she touches. Whether it’s making a colleague feel seen, helping a tenant through a hard time, or simply sharing a quiet moment or a kind word, Char has always been there for others. Now, it’s our turn to be there for her.

💗 Why We’re Fundraising

Due to the demands of treatment, Charmaine isn’t always able to work full-time. She is navigating not only the physical and emotional toll of chemotherapy—including the loss of her hair—but also the mounting costs of medical care, prescriptions, transportation, and daily living expenses.

We want to give Char the space to focus on healing, not bills.

This fundraiser is about easing that burden so she can concentrate on what matters most: rest, recovery, and resilience.
