Raising funds to put a CCTV Camera and Sigange at the top of Thatcher
Mission Bay, Auckland
Let’s keep Thatcher, Kempthorne and Prebble safe.
With a recent increase in crime, we’ve established the Kepa Bush Community Group. Let’s keep watch over our cul-de-sacs and keep safe.
The first initiative we’re moving forward with is to put a CCTV camera and Signage at the top of Thatcher. This way we can see anyone entering or exiting our three cul-de-sacs.
We could have found the culprits of many burglaries if we had this.
We will be able to provide the footage to Police for any future incidents.
We need your help.
Please make a donation to establish the camera.
Let us know if you want to be involved in running our group.
Please contribute to this community initiative. Give what you can. No-one’s making a profit here, it’s just to cover the cost of the camera and some visible signage which will be a deterrent also.
You may have noticed we’ve recently put up Eastern Bays Community Patrol signs, we’re in touch with them and they are now patrolling our cul-de-sacs regularly.
The patrol is seeking more volunteers and if you could spare 2 hours a month to help patrol, please let us know.

CCTV Camera and 24/7 Surveillance in Operation Signage
Update for neighbours 2 December 2024
Hi Thatcher, Prebble, Kempthorne
Great work, well done and thank you.
We are close.
We have had some direct deposits on top of this givealittle.
A few hundred dollars more will see us reach our target.
Please talk to your neighbours about this idea.
Some may not have heard, even after our door knocking and posting campaign, but they may consider contributing if you pass word to them.
We're so close, we can do this together for us all.
