Let’s pull together for Ralph and Mel

Our family is reaching out for support for Ralph and his wife Melissa during an incredibly difficult time.

5 weeks ago Ralph was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, turning life upside down for him and his family. Since then, he has faced a long and challenging medical journey, including a 4-week hospital stay, a 5-day stay in Wellington for specialist procedures, and he now has a major upcoming surgery in Wellington.

During his hospital stay, Ralph also developed a serious infection in his spine near his spinal cord, leaving him immobile for 2 weeks. Although he is slowly improving, he now requires walking aids to help him get around while continuing treatment and recovery.

Throughout all of this, both Ralph and Melissa have been unable to work for the past 6 weeks, leaving them without income while still facing travel costs, accommodation, bills, groceries, and everyday living expenses.

We are hoping to ease some of the financial stress so Ralph and Melissa can focus on his treatment and recovery. Any donation, no matter how small, would mean so much to our family. If you are unable to donate, sharing this page would also be greatly appreciated.
