Levin accident tragedy: Support for Richard Parson's family
Richard Parsons was unexpectedly taken from his wife and two kids on 9th November in a car accident in Levin.
New Plymouth, Taranaki
On the 9th of November 2021, Richard Parsons was sadly taken from his family, friends and the Devon Intermediate School community.
Richard was a husband, father, uncle, son-in-law, brother-in-law, friend and colleague who was taken too soon fighting for the freedom and equality of New Zealanders.
Richard leaves behind a wife, Marissa Hoyes, and two teenage children, Jade and Reed. This tragedy has come as a shock for the family and any funds will go towards funeral costs and the next chapter of their life without their beloved Richard.
Any support for Marissa, Jade and Reed during this difficult time is hugely appreciated.

Thank you to everyone who donated to this cause. Richard was farewelled on the 20th of November by family, friends, colleagues and his dog Coco. Your support is greatly appreciated and helped give Richard the most beautiful farewell. Any left over funds will be used to help the family in their next chapter without their beloved.
