Just coming out here to say I applied for a scholarship at the end of August, and have received notice that I have been awarded $6,000!! I also contacted the Whangamata Lions Club and they have agreed to gift me $2000 towards my goal. I am so incredibly grateful!

On Saturday 28th of September, I'll be running a half marathon to help my fundraising as well as support my local Surf Life Saving Club. If you're here, thank you for backing me on this journey :)
This year I was lucky to be a part of my local Whangamata year 11-12 Vixens, as well as making the Waihi Representative netball team. I had an amazing season with these girls xxx Will miss you next year ❤️❤️
I have some amazing news to share! I’ve just received confirmation that my application to study abroad in Costa Rica with AFS has been officially accepted by AFS New Zealand! 🌎🎉 They believe I'll make a successful AFSer, and I’m beyond excited to have been offered a place in this incredible program.
This is a huge step towards my dream of immersing myself in Costa Rican culture, learning Spanish, and representing New Zealand abroad. However, there's still one more hurdle to clear—AFS Costa Rica needs to review my documents and find a volunteer host family for me. I’m optimistic that everything will go smoothly from here!
