Hi, my name is Liam Domett-Potts I’m a 17-year-old ski instructor at Rainbow Ski Area and a student at Nelson College. I’ve been growing my hair for the past 2-3 years. This coming Thursday it's being shaved off to raise money for the cancer society.

I've become involved as Nelson College has an annual event called the Runathon. This involves the entire school running laps for 24 hours straight. To boost the total profits a small group of boys, all with long hair, have decided to shave our heads.All money given to us will be incorporated with the total funds raised by Nelson College.

Use of funds

All funds will be given to the Nelson branch of Cancer Society as part of a Nelson College donation. This money will be used for further research and treatment of cancer in New Zealand
