Help us to cover the cost of Liana's lifesaving surgery and treatment.
Upper Hutt, Wellington
Lovely Liana came into our care and from the start it was clear that something wasn't quite right. She had persistent urinary problems and was noticeably uncomfortable around her abdomen. Upon further investigation including multiple blood tests and urinalysis' as well as Xray's and ultrasounds it was discovered that only the capsule of Liana's left kidney remained and was filled with fluid which was the cause of her painful infections. Due to this the veterinarian believed a left kidney nephrectomy was the necessary treatment for Liana (The removal of her left kidney) in order to prevent it from rupturing which would have been fatal. This surgery has since been done and Liana is recovering well however we are seeking donations from kind people who are able to help us cover the costs of this surgery and additional treatment associated with ensuring Liana has a healthy recovery.
All our cats and kittens are desexed, vaccinated and wormed before being rehomed. We have a strict no kill policy and will hold an animal forever if necessary.
