Life beyond ACC's Contribution. Declined claims?

ACC will do whatever it takes not to pay out just like any other insurance company. A lawyer is the only way forward. I need help!

My anticipation is to firstly ease the financial burden that my wife is now subjected to. This will afford me more energy to focus on my own mental health rehabilitation. I am currently on trial with ACC to prove that my Treatment Injury / Medical Misadventure has left me with PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) and CFS (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome). My GP is currently forced to negate both PTSD and CFS from my medical certificate because ACC have not approved the claim. Ultimately this will lead to a legal battle to get the compensation that ACC are obligated to pay out.

My long term aspiration is to start a support group that can assist so many other people who find themselves fighting the system. However I can not give them the support and guidance they need until I have helped myself. I aim to establish sufficient funds to not only make up the shortfall in our current combined income but to have sufficient funds to engage a medical lawyer to take on my case.

Use of funds

To generate +/- $ 2,000.00 pm to ease our financial burden and to be in the position to engage the services of a Medical Lawyer.

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause. Hey Dai, Thank you so much mate. Yes it has been difficult for me but I am a fighter. I still have some steep hills to climb but not only for myself but to pave the way for others too. Much apreciciated mate. Stay safe and well.
