Life isn't Fair

As many of you already know...my gorgeous baby sister was diagnosed with Breast Cancer 4 weeks ago.. This was a devastating shock, as she recently closed her amazing shoe shop due to the current economic climate. She was ready for her next challenge....and this was definitely not it.

Yesterday she had surgery to remove her Grade 3 lump from breast. As you can imagine, the surgery was brutal and will take time to recover from. Depending on the results of the surgery will determine the next steps. This will include radiation in Palmerston North.

We all know Mands as the kindest, funniest, caring, stylish, 'give the shirt off her back' people person.

Now its our time to support her. So many people have asked how they can help, and the best help at the moment is financial. I have had to convince Mands to let me start up this Give-A-Little page. She is so humble, and used to helping others...not being on the receiving end.

She had just started a new job, and unfortunately has not accu.ulated any leave...but the bills keep rolling in.

I know its a hard time financially for everyone at the moment..but any donation would help. It would enable Mands to stay home and recover.
