Life Saving surgery for Sunil Dutt
My nephew has just been diagnosed with thyroid cancer and needs life saving surgery.
Auckland
Sunil Dutt is from Fiji. He is here in NZ to support his daughter who is on 3 year work visa.
Sunil had a small lump checked in Fiji but the doctor said there was nothing wrong.
Over the last two months while here in New Zealand the lump grew bigger so Neelam took him to the doctor in New Zealand. Sunil got diagnosed with thriod cancer on 31 January 2020.
Luckily Sunil can have surgery to save his life. Sunil will have surgery on 17 February 2020 at Gillies Hospital in Auckland. Sunil will start radiation 6 weeks after his surgery.
The surgery will cost $25,500.00 and radiation will be approximately $10,000.00
