Please help us to raise funds for lifesaving surgery in India for our sister who lives in Vanuatu.
Recently our sister Roslyne who lives in Vanuatu, needed to be flown to Fiji to get an urgent scan and biopsy after having prolonged chest pain. It was discovered she now requires lifesaving surgery to remove a mass from her chest wall that is currently compressing on her lung.
After receiving that diagnosis and knowing this surgery can only be performed abroad, we are now needing to raise funds urgently for the travel and surgery costs. The families have been seeking a number of hospitals based in India that can offer the necessary surgery and care, the quotes provided thus far are in excess of $20,000 USD and that is just for the surgery alone, this does not include her travel cost nor the cost for a support person to accompany her.
Roslyne is our sister.
All funds raised will go towards travel, surgery (in India) and post surgery care.
Now we wait 31 December 2024
Hey 👋
Just another update on our sister, Roslyne....she has had 4 rounds of Chemo, now being monitered. The plan is to have further tests 21 days after her last round of chemo and a decision will be made as to what the next step is, be it surgery or more chemo.
We have received $1400 from your November donations which we sent to India yesterday to help with their ongoing medical and living charges. We will keep you updated on this heartbreaking medical journey. Thank you again for your ongoing support. Much appreciated, tomorrow is a new year filled with hope!!
