    Hey 👋

    Just another update on our sister, Roslyne....she has had 4 rounds of Chemo, now being monitered. The plan is to have further tests 21 days after her last round of chemo and a decision will be made as to what the next step is, be it surgery or more chemo.

    We have received $1400 from your November donations which we sent to India yesterday to help with their ongoing medical and living charges. We will keep you updated on this heartbreaking medical journey. Thank you again for your ongoing support. Much appreciated, tomorrow is a new year filled with hope!!

  • It's Cancer!

    We have the results and it's Cancer. The tumor had grown since her first scan in Fiji. Roslyne had her first round of chemo yesterday and today will have a second round of chemo 🥹 in hope to reduce then have surgery. As mentioned before with each test and treatment comes a price tag therefore we will continue to fundraise to help cover these on going medical costs.

    Please check back on our Give a little page for further updates on this heartbreaking medical journey especially as we approach what should be a wonderful time of the year spent with our loved ones. This time last year we were all in Vanuatu.

    They are a long way from home however we take comfort that she is where she needs to be, getting the treatment she needs and all our family are safe and well post the earthquakes.

  • Roslyn's medical update from India

    Roslyne and her partner Ben arrived safely in India earlier this month. She has had a scan, radiation and a biopsy each treatment coming with a price tag. Once her surgeon has the results they will decide on the next steps and surgical plan.

    I will update you once we know the next steps. I have added a few images to the gallery for you to see. Definitely a little bit of a culture stock for them but are coping well. Thank you again for your support as we navigate through our sisters medical journey.

  • Roslyne is going to India!!

    Great news, we have raised enough funds to be able to book Roslyne and Ben on a flight to India and secure a surgery date!

    They depart Port Vila for India on 3 December returning 29 January. The surgery is booked for 6 December. Next step is arranging accommodation post surgery and everything in between.

    This has been made possible not only by all our families, friends and colleagues but you. You have played a part in making this happen, we thank you again so very much for your support and generosity.

    We will keep up updated on Roslyne's medical journey.

  • Fundraising Update

    Quick update on how all of our fundraising is going for our sister Roslyne, the response has been overwhelming - thank you.

    Families in Vanuatu have been fundraising day and night. I have uploaded a few pictures for you - check out the gallery. We are nearing the initial target of VT3mil we have raised just over VT2mil to date! I will update again as information comes to hand.

    Just a little bit about Roslyne, she is 40, such a kind and caring human, a mother of two, a teacher and has a partner, Ben.

    Ben is currently in Australia doing RSA work trying to get home to accompany her for her surgery and ongoing treatment.
