Two type 1 diabetic siblings asking for your help!

Papamoa Beach, Papamoa

Lily (aged 16) and Jack (aged 8) have type 1 diabetes. They were both diagnosed when they were 4 years old. Life for them is a struggle everyday. Endless amounts of needles, highs, lows and sleepless nights for them and mum. They need to be tested every half hour during the day and at night every 2 hours. This is a full time job in itself. The new CGM a little device that sits on their arm (with a needle in) and checks their blood sugars every 5 minutes is what they both need! This would make life so much easier for everyone. CGM can also alert and connect to their pumps. This would mean that everyone would get a good nights sleep and that Lily and Jack could live a somewhat normal life. CGM aren’t funded and they cost $6,000 each person per year. We would love your help to raise $12,000 for both Lily and Jack to get a CGM each. This would be life changing for them.

Thank you for taking the time out of your day to read this and if you can donate anything big or small everything helps.
