Lily needs a CF tap and MRI to find out why she is having severe seizures that medication is not able to control.

Auckland

Lily is 8 and has suddenly developed severe seizures which are frightening and debilitating.

She is on a very high dose of anti seizure meds 100mg Permoxin and is about to start steroids.

Despite the high dose she is still getting seizures every day.

She has had a full blood work up and it shows nothing of any usual conditions that would bring on sudden severe seizure.

We have ruled out any environmental factors.

The only diagnostic tool left is MRI and CF tap.

I can not afford this for her and would dearly like to try and find out what is going on in her brain to help her.

The cost is $3500 plus.

I would be grateful for anything to help me get her the help she needs. Without help she may lose her life.🧡
