Lisa Barlow`s brain tumour .

Lisa Barlow will shortly be going into Royal Brisbane and Womens Hospital Neuro-surgical ward for major & necessary brain surgery to remove a benign brain tumour which is now growing larger and pushing brain to the side . The Surgeon will then perform Crainioplasty with custom made Prosthetic implant.

Lisa is a young women in her early 50`s who now needs a helping hand for post operation care costs.

The main hospital medical costs have been covered however post-op will be longer and more costly than Lisa expected.

Lisa won’t be able to drive for over 6 months and no flights for 4 weeks .

It is it’s unknown how many weeks or months before she can go back to work after this post op care & rehabilitation .

We, as a family, will also be supporting her the best we can.

Lisa will be highly focussed on rehab and hopes to be getting back to employment when she is able .She works in the hospitality industry and cooks beautiful foodin Cafe`s.

In her spare time she also loves fishing, walking , swimming at the beaches here in the Nelson area and doing pilates and yoga and spending time with her her children and small grandchildren
