Lisa just turned 30 in June this year and has now been diagnosed with stage 4 Hodgkin Lymphoma. Hodgkin Lymphoma is quite rare with around 75 New Zealanders being diagnosed per year.
Lisa is half through her nursing degree and has decided to put this hold so she can fight this horrible disease with a clear head and mind . Lisa is a mummy to a beautiful little boy named Phoenix, he is 3.5years old and he is her life and her main goal is to provide the best life she can for him and she's doing a damn good job at it. Lisa will endure chemo and possibly radiation so to be in the best possible health she can be in she has overhauled her diet completely and is now eating on a strictly organic eating plan & supplements as advised by a naturopath and also due to her own research. She would also like to have intravenous vitamin C treatment, which has a very high success rate especially in Lymphoma . Unfortunately the cost of this treatment and the up keep of her diet and supplements is very high for Lisa to keep up with, so we are asking for affordable donations to be made to help contribute to the cost.
Significant advances are continually being made in the way Lymphoma is managed, with appropriate treatment most people with Hodgkin Lymphoma can be cured. With Lisas positivity and determination we are sure she will beat this so lets all help her do everything possible so she has the best chance.

Treatment 5 October 2015
Lisa has just finished her second round of chemo and treatment is going well so far. She has 2 more rounds to go before she will be retested to determine the rest of the treatment plan.
The supplements she has been taking and having an organic whole foods diet has had a huge benefit on how she is handling chemo. The cost of this is high and hard for Lisa to keep up on a benefit We are very thankful for all the donations.
