Literally gutted after lockdown.

Hi my name is Ash, I am a sufferer of ulcerative colitis and due to this I needed to use all my leave during the lockdown. I have now had a serious turn of events and require an urgent surgery to save my life. I have a j pouch that is leaking and needs to be removed, I will be given a colostomy bag for the remainder of my life.

The doctors have given me a 98% chance of a fatal incident if I do not receive the operation and am now going in for the operation on the 5th of June.

However I no longer have any leave available to cover the time off I need to recover and WINZ has been less then helpful.

I am the main income earning for our household of 3 myself, fiancé and 4 year old daughter who I share custody and am stressed beyond believe on how we are going to survive the 8 weeks off I need to recover from the operation and this is why I am here asking for help.

I am a kiwi proud man but I need to do everything I can to ensure my family is ok so why not try aye.
