    Hi everyone. We have collected and saved up enough money to pay for the illustrations for our book. Now we'll start saving for publishing. Although we are financially still struggling, we are going to close the page as it is really hard for us to ask others for money. Thank you all so much for your help, assistance and donations.     Hi everyone. Give a Little paid an amount out to us, and we have transferred that to the illustrator. Thank you all so much. $1600 to go to get the illustrator paid in full. We'll do this first, then try to do the printing, and only after that maybe use some funds to help pay doctors / vet bills. Bless you all ❤️

  • Oopsy 🤦🏻‍♀️

    Buddy had an "oopsy" and an "ouchy" today. He got hurt and surgery was needed. It never rains, but pours, right? I felt super low & stressed, there's just too much happening and bills piling up, but Animal care in Havelock North was amazing and Buddy just took things in his stride. My heart broke to leave him there, but he was such a clown when I picked him up again. He certainly is my emotional support animal. Teaching me that through tough times there still is love and a little laugh to have ❤️ Carla

  • Almost enough to finish illustrations - Thank you!

    So, we need $4000 to get the illustrator paid, and we only have $2300 to go. Then it is on to the printing. Hubby still recovering from surgery, but we are looking at jobs / applying to a few 🤞 I've also been off sick this week, unpaid 😬 so yes, interesting times. Buddy is happy to have his people home though 😊 and he is just being his little cute self.

    Hi All. Our very talented illustrator has completed the sketches and, after reviewing, is now moving on to do color. We have $3000 to go to be able to compensate him.
