Little dog who was attacked needs help to recover

    Ngā mihi mahana ki a koutou katoa. Rererangi is barking loud and proud, running around, jumping far too much and is still monitored. He's still taking pain relief and needs his Hemp oils. What a brave wee man. You can see where the vet has had to take away a lot of muscle mass around his stomach area. He still gets tired and he gets his broths and good yummy kai from his mummies.

    The money has replaced the Vet's expensive bills, that seemed to get less as the weeks went by, phew! So far we only have to recoup about $4500 back into our coppers and we are back to saving for my parents Headstone and unveiling and our travel overseas for whakapapa and culture.

  • Rere has to have surgery again to repair gapping hole

    Our Rere has to go back to the vet's for more surgery on his wound today, the stitches on his belly has opened up to a gapping hole, poor wee man was doing great until last night. He's eating, drinking and even had a poop. But now? Aue what a battle for him and more $$$ for us. More prayers whanau we knew this was going to be a tough journey aue! Poor wee man...

  • Rererangi able to come home for the night, yay

    OMG our prayers are being answered, Rere will be able to come home tonight but he's still not eating and they are reducing his pain meds. The vet reckons that may eat for us at home, probably will! Yay!!! Thankyou everyone, keep up the healing vibes please, he's still got a long way to go yet and is still in a lot of pain... yay....

  • Rere recovery update

    OMG whanau and friends of friends, we are totally overwhelmed by this support. This will pay for his weekend in vet hospital, many, many thanks.

    A friend just gave us food vouchers instead of $$$ wow wee!

    Rere needs to be hand fed ATM, he likes the chicken stock, manuka honey and managed a couple of little pieces of boiled chicken.

    We had to get a new phone for Lavinia as hers took a trip in the loo the other night, just traumatized no doubt.

    I have managed to take out a little stupid shopping trolley rail as reversing out of a park just B4. Damn, time for a blessing I reckon... eek more $$$ to fix that fender. I'm not going anywhere else ATM, except to see Rere tonight. La is going in again soon to support his eating.
