My son kayden jack was born 29+1 weeks gestation with a birth defect called gastroschisis which is where his bowels were on the outside he is only 5 weeks old and undergone 2 surgerys so far, currently still in room D nicu wellington hospital , with me having to travel over 100kms 1 way as often as possible to be with him as i also have a 2yo and 1yo, which makes life a little on the tight side , we have been informd of travel assistance and in the process of doing all things possible to get this rolling but as it takes over 4 weeks for each form to be processed
Use of funds
Any money raised will be used towards petrol and parking to visit my son and any xtrawill help cover costs for childcare

Master kayden had to go back in for his forth surgery he had an hernia on the left side of his tummy gas in his stumic wall and wasn’t accepting milk whats so ever , hes had the astomas put back in place so there will be another surgery to come 😓,
As for the national travel assistance my social worker had put down the rong dates so we are having to wait another 4 weeks for it to be processed , been a long an hard 8 weeks waiting for travel assistance
