Little Tisha's Treatment

On November 5th 2024, my almost 2 year old cat Morticia drastically changed demeanor. She went from the most energetic and playful little girl to the most lethargic and depressed I have ever seen her. I had hoped it was only a tummy bug, but on my 2nd visit to the vet they soon suspected GDV, a condition rarely found in cats. It has been entirely spontaneous with no clear cause. She's been extremely bloated and had to stay in critical care for almost 3 days now, and I am struggling to envision a world without her in it. Currently she is battling subcutaneous emphysema and a pneumothorax; air is trapped under her skin and in her chest and is putting pressure on her heart and lungs.

I hate asking for money, but she's been my ray of sunshine for almost two years. She's a very young cat, and I want her to live a long and happy life bouncing around, chasing hair ties and moths and being her little-rascal self. Suffice it to say, her treatment has been far more expensive that I expected. Anything anyone can offer, no matter how small, is greatly appreciated <3
