I'm donating a Kidney: Support Me to Save a Life

I'm a Live Kidney Donor who will be donating my kidney to William who has End Stage Kidney Failure in February 2016.

I do not have enough annual leave to cover the estimated three months required to fully recover and ask for your help.

While I am entitled to a small allowance with WINZ (called a Live Donor Assistance Allowance) this will not cover expenses i.e. rent, power or phone.

Our parents are staying in Auckland while we are in hospital and post operatively, and extra funds are needed to help with their accommodation while in hospital (as they do not live in Auckland) and to also help with petrol costs and hospital parking costs.

All general expenses have been paired back to the barest minimum but at this stage I am two months short of having enough funds.

Any amount not required will be donated to the Kidney Society.
