I'm stepping out of the boat to pursue a life of cross-cultural mission. Step 1: get solid training and experience. But I need your help.
Christchurch, Canterbury
For years I’ve felt God stirring my heart towards cross-cultural mission. Last year I tested the waters with a Crossroads Church team trip to Asia. Experiencing new cultures, deep need, and extreme poverty only strengthened my sense that this is where God is leading me.
This year I joined Headspace—a missional discipleship course equipping people like me for lifelong mission. They even changed the age limit so I could be part of it! Each week I’ve learned more about God, global mission, cross-cultural engagement, and how I’m wired. I’ve wrestled with faith, battled self-doubt, and seen God shape my character. This course has been a game-changer.
Now it’s building toward a two-month encounter in Cambodia. I’ll be working with Flame, an incredible ministry started by Kiwi, Sue Hanna. It’s where everything I’ve been learning will be tested and deepened.
Here’s where you come in: Without access to Studylink or other supports, I’ve been relying on God—and trying my best with part-time work—to cover the total course fees. At this point, I still need about $10,000. The Headspace team has agreed that, if I can raise $5000 by the end of July, I can still be part of that critical Cambodia part of the year. So if you're able, your help to make this happen would be sooo appreciated.
Thanks so much for considering being part of my journey!!
This will go towards the outreach portion of my training, enabling me to be part of the two month mission encounter in Cambodia. It will help cover pre-trip training, flights, accommodation, food, transport, placement costs, debriefing etc.
Thanks so much Dad!!! ✨️
